Children with hearing and speech disabilities can learn the basics of football

The events organised within the framework of the international tender “ERASMUS-SPORT-2023-SCP” will take place in Debrecen on June 3, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Children with hearing and speech disabilities can learn the basics of football under the guidance of Tibor Vad, Péter Farkas, and Kata Szabó.

The Municipality of Debrecen, Debrecen Sportcentrum Public Benefit Ltd., and DVSC have jointly committed themselves to raising athletes from children and young people with special educational needs. As a result of the joint work of special educators, physical educators, coaches, psychologists, and other professionals, the members of our Special Academy can experience the essence of the athlete’s identity without physical and mental limitations.

The programme is implemented within the framework of the Inclusion-InSport-InSociety – Heroes of Local Responsible Sport Enterprises professional cooperation, which enables people with disabilities to participate in sports for free at various sports facilities, coordinated by the municipality.

In May 2025, participants could enrol in fencing, swimming, and tennis classes, subject to prior registration.

The organisers continue to welcome applications from organisations of people with disabilities and sports service providers via email at sport@ph.debrecen.hu or on the online appointment booking platform www.foggosport.com.
