Debrecen Business Service Centers won national recognition

As the winner of the “Best CSR Program – Common Issues – Shared Responsibility category”, Debrecen Business Service Centers (DBSC) was awarded the right to use the Business Responsibility Trademark for two years, the roundtable announced.

CSR Hungary has been one of Hungary’s leading professional brands focusing specifically on corporate responsibility since 2006. Over the past nearly two decades, the CSR Hungary Award has become a defining domestic platform for presenting responsible and sustainable business practices and sharing good examples.

The award ceremony took place on November 21 at the Crowne Plaza Budapest, where the Hungarian Business Responsibility Awards were presented for the 18th time. The winners include large corporations and SMEs, companies with domestic and foreign interests, and companies in Budapest and the countryside.

The trademark is the professional jury’s recognition that DBSC’s activities fit into the domestic system of corporate sustainability and responsibility, the announcement states.

DBSC member companies have been operating as an active community and educational platform since 2018. Their activities focus on career guidance for students, support for teachers, and the long-term security of the local ecosystem’s workforce. They build bridges between secondary and higher education, the city, and the business service sector with multi-level, socially impactful, future-shaping programs.

“We believe that sustainable and measurable results can only be achieved in partnership. We wanted to show that a local collaboration can also create a value-creating model that can inspire and serve as good practice for other cities, communities, or sectors. The award confirms that the efforts we have made over the past seven years to promote recognition of the business services sector and to prepare young people for the world of work represent value not only locally, but also at the national level,” said Éva Kissné Nyéki, project manager of DBSC.

Debrecen Business Service Centers sees the award primarily as a joint result of the participating member companies, the city, educational partners, teachers, and students, as another confirmation that the “common cause, common responsibility” approach is already working in practice in Debrecen.
