Emergency Medical Care on July 1, Semmelweis Day

Pursuant to Section 15/B of Act LXXXIV of 2003 on the Rules Governing the Practice of Healthcare, July 1—Wednesday—is Semmelweis Day, a public holiday for healthcare workers employed by healthcare providers and for all those working in the healthcare sector.

To ensure the continuous provision of primary healthcare, on-call services in Debrecen will provide emergency care for patients on this day.
