Iconic film scores, colourful ambient lighting and magnificent organ sound come together to create a truly unique concert experience at the Great Reformed Church on April 22.

This time, the church’s nearly 200-year-old organ will not play a classical repertoire but  the justly famous melodies of popular films—pieces that are almost never performed on the organ, despite the “queen of instruments” being capable of reproducing these works with extraordinary richness of tone, power and grandeur.

The programme features, among others, music from Pirates of the Caribbean and the Mission: Impossible and Harry Potter series, as well as iconic melodies from classics such as Once Upon a Time in the West and Le Professionnel, and the unforgettable themes from the Star Wars films.

The organ will be played by Gergő Csorba.

Tickets are available for HUF 4,900 at the ticket office of the Great Church, at Karakter 1517 Bookshop and Café, and online.
