Following last year’s debut, the Ice Flower Carnival is set to return on 21 November to open the winter festive season in Debrecen,  with a spectacular procession of flower floats and dancers making their way from Kossuth Square to Szent Anna Street along Piac Street,

Debrecen’s Christmas market was named among Europe’s five best, while its ice rink was awarded the title of “Europe’s Most Beautiful Christmas Ice Rink” in 2025.

On this day, Debrecen’s Advent lights will be switched on, marking the beginning of one of the most magical and wonder-filled times of the year.
