Titled Nation and Memory, this joint exhibition by painter Edit Kolozsvári and metal sculptor József Szabó offers visitors a rich cultural and intellectual experience, conveying artistic, historical, ecclesiastical and community messages at the same time.
This multidisciplinary exhibition, which recalls pivotal events in Hungarian history, is intended to be far more than a simple display of paintings and an imposing equestrian statue depicting Saint Stephen. It serves as an encounter with our past, our roots, and the spiritual heritage bequeathed to us by our ancestors. At a time when the world is changing ever more rapidly, it is particularly important to remember and rediscover all that sustains us: our faith, our history, the strength of our communities and our identity.
Interested visitors are warmly invited to the exhibition opening on 6 June 2026 at 10.00 a.m. The exhibition will be opened by Bishop Károly Fekete and painter and graphic artist Kriszta Fábián Szántóné. Musical accompaniment will be provided by Trio Harmony.
The exhibition is on from 6 to 18 June 2026, Monday to Saturday, between 9.00 a.m. and 12 noon, and between 1.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. Admission is free.
