Free Admission to Debrecen Gourmet Festival for Children Under 12

The organisers of the upcoming 10th anniversary Debrecen Gourmet Festival have announced another important detail ahead of the event coming up from 12 to 14 June.

As in previous years, children under the age of 12 and pensioners who present a valid pensioner ID card will be admitted free of charge.

This year’s festival will be held under the theme “Flavours of the World.” Over the course of three days, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the culinary traditions of ten different nations through selections of 24 restaurants and confectioneries in the heart of Debrecen’s Great Forest. The programme will also feature live cooking demonstrations by Michelin-starred chefs, concerts and a variety of family-friendly activities. The organisers have also reminded visitors that the festival will once again be entirely cashless, with only debit and FestiPay cards accepted for payments. The Debrecen Gourmet Festival will also continue its tradition of being a dog-friendly event, welcoming visitors accompanied by their pets.
