Graduating Students’ Day to Go Ahead Today, with Another Free Water Park Session on 15 July

Despite today’s cooler weather, the Municipality of Debrecen will proceed with Graduating Students’ Day at Aquaticum Outdoor Water Park as planned. In addition, the city will also provide free admission for registered graduating students on 15 July, during the water park’s regular opening hours. The designated contingency day is open to eligible students regardless of whether they attend today’s event starting 2:00 pm.

Graduating Students’ Day has become a long-standing municipal initiative since 2020, with the aim of allowing graduating secondary school students to visit Aquaticum Outdoor Water Park free of charge after successfully completing their final examinations. On 8 July 2026, students can not only enjoy complimentary entry but also take part in a wide range of activities to celebrate the end of their secondary school years together. Students who registered in advance can enter the water park free of charge by presenting either their student or national ID card.

Today’s programme includes a beach volleyball tournament for registered teams between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm on the beach volleyball court. During the same period, students can also take part in a water balloon and water pistol battle. An extreme jumping competition begins at 4:30 pm, followed by an animation party from 6:00 pm, a balloon prize giveaway from 7:00 pm, a watermelon-eating competition from 7:30 pm, and a foam party from 8:00 pm. Music and entertainment throughout the day will be provided by DJ Németi, DJ Judge, and Lili Regán.

On both 8 July and 15 July, registered students should enter the facility through Cash Desk B, located on the Nagyerdei Boulevard side of the complex, closer to the roundabout.
