Important Parking Deadlines Approaching in Debrecen

See the most important deadlines to keep in mind at the beginning of the year.

Several key dates are approaching in Debrecen’s parking system, and drivers are advised to pay close attention to them.

Annual parking passes purchased for 2025 are valid until 15 January 2026. Approved registrations for free residential parking remain valid until 28 February 2026.

Registration for electric vehicles registered after 1 August 2025 is valid until 28 February 2026 (the registration of electric vehicles registered up to 1 August 2025 expired on 31 December 2025).

Parking passes purchased for the second half of 2025 for the Green II, zone code 4033 zone are valid until 31 January 2026.

On the DV Parking website, drivers can register for free residential parking for 2026, for free parking for electric vehicles (Green 4033 zone), and for paid parking passes. Those who successfully registered in 2025 may purchase their new passes without submitting a new registration.

Anyone who can is advised to renew their registration well before the deadlines, as due to the high number of requests received by DV Parking, processing may take up to seven working days.
