László Papp: Year after year Debrecen is one of the safest cities in Hungary

The mayor posted about this on his social networking site and addressed the police and road users. 

“Year after year, Debrecen is one of the safest cities in our country. Thank you for the police work!” the Mayor wrote on his Facebook page.

László Papp also wrote in his post that at the Debrecen Police Department’s District Public Safety Consultation Forum, he asked the county and city police chiefs to pay special attention to improving the public safety situation in Petőfi Square and the Grand Station (Nagyállomás).

During the Advent period, they should also work with the public area surveillance and the vigilantes to ensure the safety of visitors to the Advent market.

The mayor also addressed road users, asking them to “watch out and care for each other on the roads.”
