More than 500 professionals graduated in Debrecen
“Graduates of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Debrecen were awarded diplomas in the following fields: certified medical social workers, certified rehabilitation specialists, certified public health specialists, certified social economy specialists, certified nutrition specialists, nurses, dieticians, physiotherapists, and public health specialists,” unideb.hu reported. As they write, the graduates received their diplomas at two ceremonies of the University of Debrecen.
For the 2024/25 academic year, a total of 514 candidates met the requirements.
In her speech, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Marianna Móré stressed that the graduates have not only received a diploma but have also taken on the responsibility of helping people whom others may not be able to.
The graduation ceremony also recognised students who have done outstanding work in the faculty.
Viktória Pázmány was awarded the Outstanding Teacher of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Debrecen, while Izabella Magyari received the Hadházy Csaba Medal for her outstanding academic achievements and high level of scientific work. Judit Buczi, Krisztina Ádámné Vágó, and Andrea Gergely-Hajdú received the Dean’s Certificate of Appreciation. Vivien Jendrek, Zsuzsanna Varga, and Anna Bartha received the Outstanding Student of the University of Debrecen award. Vanda Zupkó received the DEHDK Discipuli Pro Universitate Award. The Certificate of Recognition of the Student Government Presidency was awarded to Lili Debreczeni, Fanni Fodor, Teodóra Kriston, Katalin Lengyel, Bence Tóth, Viviena Vincze, Árpád Bálint Csikós, József Miklós Rácz, Nóra Adamik, and Fanni Dobrán. The Certificate of Recognition of the President and Vice-President of the Student Government was awarded to Lilla Csókay, Eszter Deák, Zétény Györfi, and Zoltán Imre Fekete. The work of those who participated in the activities of the Verzár Frigyes College and the Talent Development Program of the University of Debrecen was also rewarded.
