Night-time Railway Works to Cause Noise in Hajdú-Bihar County in September

As announced by MÁV Group, planned maintenance work involving noise will be carried out on the railway infrastructure during September on the Szolnok–Debrecen–Nyíregyháza–Záhony, Püspökladány–Biharkeresztes and Debrecen–Mátészalka railway lines.

Works are scheduled to take place:
• between Püspökladány and Berettyóújfalu on the nights from 8 to 11 September,
• at Apafa station on the nights of 8 and 9 September,
• between Törökszentmiklós and Debrecen, intermittently, both at night and during the day from 14 September to 8 December,
• between Hajdúsámson and Nyíradony on the nights from 28 September to 3 October.

Railway maintenance machinery will be present and may cause noise for the periods indicated at stations, on open-line sections between stations and at railway crossings. The railway company asks local residents for their understanding and patience due to the night-time works and the associated noise.
