Parking and Public Transport Information for Upcoming Long Weekend

DV Parking informs motorists that on 25 May, Whit Monday, on-street parking in Debrecen will be free of charge while parking in underground car parks will remain subject to payment. They also stress that the paid parking zone with zone code 4016 on Lomnic Street (between 1 May and 30 September) remains chargeable even on public holidays.

The company’s customer service office will be closed on Whit Monday and will reopen to the public at 8 a.m. on Tuesday following the three-day long weekend. In the meantime, the artificial intelligence-based chatbot available on the DV Parking website can assist with answering simpler questions at any time of day.

DKV announced that the operating schedule of buses, trolleybuses and trams will change over the Whitsun weekend. On 23 May, services will operate according to the Saturday timetable, while on 24 and 25 May they will run according to the Sunday and public holiday timetable.

The Auchan shopper services will not operate on 24 and 25 May.
