See what will replace this former office buiding in Debrecen
For decades, the office building at 8 Postakert Street was in operation, and it is now under demolition, as noticed by Dehir. In recent years, tenants gradually moved out of the increasingly outdated building, and a sign advertising office space for rent was continuously displayed. A sign on the fence announces that a condominium has been envisioned in place of the office building, which will be named Postakert Residence.
István Pintye, Managing Director of the investor ED-LUX Ltd., told Dehir.hu that they hope to complete the demolition within two weeks and plan to construct the building in 2026.
As he said, the location is highly advantageous; due to its proximity to the city center, all services and transport infrastructure are easily accessible, while traffic noise will not disturb future residents. A new nursery has been built on the street, and there is also a kindergarten and a primary school operating there.
Postakert Residence will include 12 residential units and 12 separate garages, as well as 12 storage units. On the ground floor of the building, there will be five separate garages, each with its own storage unit, and an additional seven separate garages will be built behind the property. The residences will have balconies or terraces for exclusive use, and two large penthouse residences are planned for the top, third floor of the building. An elevator will also be installed in the building, ensuring barrier-free access to all residences.
The condominium was designed by architect Zoltán Ványi, an employee of Dryvit Profi Ltd.
