Several Busy Bus Services to Operate on Diverted Routes This Weekend
Between 8am and 6pm on 15 August, Debrecen Waterworks will replace a damaged sewer manhole cover that has become a safety hazard at the roundabout on Bartók Béla Road. According to the company vehicle traffic will not be possible from the Bartók Béla Road roundabout towards Mester Street (the city centre) during the works, so temporary traffic restrictions will be in place on the affected section of road.
DKV has announced that during the works, bus services 14, 14Y, 42 and 43 travelling towards Tégláskert/Debrecen Main Railway Station will operate on diverted routes between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on 15 August.
Services 14 and 42 travelling towards Tégláskert Street/Debrecen Main Railway Station will follow the diversion route Bartók Béla Road roundabout – Bartók Béla Road – Dorottya Street – Kishegyesi Road – Segner Square. The buses will not serve the Klinikai Központ Kenézy Campus (towards Mester Street) or Pesti Street stops. Instead, the services will stop at the Klinikai Központ Kenézy Campus stop on the side towards Szotyori Street.
