Several Trolleybus and Bus Routes Affected by Upcoming Roadworks in Debrecen

Asphalting works will take place on Munkácsy Mihály Street on Wednesday, 18 March between 08:00 and 15:30, and on Thursday, 19 March between 08:00 and 15:30, as announced by DKV.

During the works, trolleybus route 4 will not operate; passengers are therefore asked to use bus route 19 instead between the city centre and the Dobozi housing estate.

Trolleybus route 5, as well as bus routes 19, 43 and 73, will operate on diversion routes.

Diversion route for trolleybus 5 towards Köztemető (Main Gate):

During the works, the service will operate via Hajnal Street – Rakovszky Dániel Street – Kassai Road. The trolleybus will not serve the Munkácsy Mihály Street, Dobozi housing estate, Brassai Sámuel Secondary Technical School and Ótemető Street stops. On the diversion, route 5 will allow passengers to board and alight at Benedek Elek Square.

Diversion route for bus 19 towards Sámsoni Road:

During the works, the service will operate via Faraktár Street – Hajnal Street – Rakovszky Dániel Street – Ótemető Street. The bus will not serve the Munkácsy Mihály Street, Dobozi housing estate and Brassai Sámuel Secondary Technical School stops. On the diversion, route 19 will allow passengers to board and alight at Benedek Elek Square and Ótemető Street stops.

Diversion route for bus 19 towards the Ice Hall:

During the works, the service will operate via Huszár Gál Street – Ótemető Street – Rakovszky Dániel Street – Hajnal Street – Faraktár Street. The bus will not serve the Brassai Sámuel Secondary Technical School and Dobozi housing estate stops. On the diversion, route 19 will allow passengers to board and alight at Ótemető Street and Benedek Elek Square stops.

Diversion route for bus 43 towards Kishatár Street:

During the works, the service will operate via Hajnal Street – Rakovszky Dániel Street – Csapó Street. The bus will not serve the Munkácsy Mihály Street, Dobozi housing estate, Brassai Sámuel Secondary Technical School and Ótemető Street stops. On the diversion, route 43 will allow passengers to board and alight at Benedek Elek Square.

Diversion route for bus 43 towards Nagyállomás:

During the works, the service will operate via Csapó Street – Rakovszky Dániel Street – Hajnal Street. The bus will not serve the Ótemető Street, Brassai Sámuel Secondary Technical School and Dobozi housing estate stops. On the diversion, route 43 will allow passengers to board and alight at Benedek Elek Square.

Diversion route for bus 73 towards the North-Western Economic Zone:

During the works, the service will operate via Hajnal Street – Rakovszky Dániel Street – Kassai Road. The bus will not serve the Munkácsy Mihály Street, Dobozi housing estate, Brassai Sámuel Secondary Technical School and Ótemető Street stops. On the diversion, route 73 will allow passengers to board and alight at Benedek Elek Square.
