The Hilton Hotel in Debrecen will open soon

The four-star hotel will be a member of the Hilton chain and will be called Hilton Garden Inn Debrecen City Center, which will be located in downtown Debrecen, Darabos Street 3-7. The hotel has been being built on the plot since the fall of 2021.

Similar to the other new hotel in Debrecen, the Mercure Debrecen Hotel, which was handed over in the summer of 2022, the hotel’s plans were prepared by Péter Bodrás’ company, BORD Architect Studio, recently recognised with the Ybl Miklós Award. The company has now published spectacular aerial photos of the Hilton Garden Inn Debrecen City Center, which will soon open its doors, as rooms are available to book in the reservation system by the 15th of August.

“The facade of the Hilton Garden Inn in Debrecen, edited in a strict grid, continues the character of the classicist facade of the Reformed Theological University opposite. However, in the entrance area on the ground floor and in the roof plane, the orderly facade, like a skirt, flutters, evoking the memory of the prominent entrance and tower characteristic of classicist facades,” they commented on the photos.

The 101-room, 220-bed, two-basement, ground-floor, and seven-story hotel with a total net floor area of ​​4,797 square metres was built with a gross budget of HUF 6.1 billion.

The investment is supported by the Hungarian state with HUF 3 billion 658 million as part of the Kisfaludy Program.

The hotel started recruiting its employees at the end of April.
