To mark the anniversary, the local public transport company, DKV Zrt., offers a day of free travel and exciting activities.
On the 29th of September, the company is celebrating the anniversary with a special open day.
The event will take place at 3 Salétrom Street and will be free of charge from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The day will start with a tram parade on Line 1. Visitors will be able to see vintage vehicles from various public transport companies, including vintage cars and motorcycles.
DKV will offer tours of the site, subject to registration, and visitors can also take exclusive nostalgia specials from the Open Day to the heart of the city. An exhibition on the company’s history will provide refreshments for those who prefer to travel back in time.
The event will also feature exhibitors, stage performers, children’s games, police and ambulance demonstrations, and street food stalls.
To mark the anniversary, DKV Zrt. is offering free travel on its public transport all day on the 29th of September.
