Three Debrecen Factories to Take Part in This Year’s Night of Modern Factories
On 13 November, more than 100 factories and industrial plants across Hungary will open their doors for the tenth Night of Modern Factories, giving visitors an insight into how modern industry operates in the country. István Kapitány, Minister for the Economy and Energy, announced the event in a post on his Facebook page on Saturday.
István Kapitány said that visitors would be able to learn about the technologies used in factories, ongoing developments and the expertise behind the performance of Hungarian industry. He highlighted that the significance of the event lies not only in the number of participating companies, but also in the fact that more and more businesses consider it important to share their knowledge and experience, while the public is increasingly curious about what goes on behind factory gates.
According to the minister, competitiveness cannot be achieved simply through the success of individual companies and the economy as a whole can move forward when others are able to learn from successful practices. These might include a new technology, a more efficient manufacturing process, an innovative development or even a profession that a young visitor discovers at the event, he added.
The minister wrote that the Night of Modern Factories gives companies an opportunity to showcase their achievements, allows professionals to share their experience, and enables young people and other interested visitors to discover the world of modern industry at first hand.
The list of participating factories, the registration platform and further information are available on the Night of Modern Factories website. According to the event’s website, Schaeffler, Sensirion Hungary and Alföldi Printing House in Debrecen will all welcome visitors with factory tours.
