Two Buildings in Debrecen Receive Property Development “Oscar”

Debrecen has received yet another distinguished international accolade as the City Hall building and the underground car park on Sas Street were awarded a Silver Prize in the Public Infrastructure category at the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2026, Mayor László Papp announced on Facebook.

The FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious international competitions in the real estate sector and is often referred to within the industry as the “Oscars of property development.” Established by the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), the award recognises outstanding property projects that demonstrate excellence in architecture, sustainability, and community value.

The recognition highlights the significance of Debrecen’s recent urban development projects and their contribution to enhancing public infrastructure while meeting high international standards of design and functionality.
