Until the end of October, children can travel for free on DKV even without a Junior Debrecen City Card

Parents whose children have just become eligible will be able to register for the Junior Debrecen City Card from mid-September.

From April 1, 2024, children between the ages of 6 and 14 who are enrolled in kindergartens or students in public educational institutions operating in Debrecen can travel free of charge on DKV Zrt. services. Children who do not reside in Debrecen but attend kindergartens and schools operating in the city can also use the pass.

DKV informed that on scheduled services of DKV Debreceni Közlekedési Zrt., until the end of October, children who are entitled to a Junior Debrecen City Card pass will be able to travel for free, but children who do not yet have a card will be required to present a photo ID (ID card/student ID card/passport) to prove their age.
