Wizz Air Launches New Flight from Debrecen

In summer, Wizz Air will operate flights from Debrecen International Airport to Varna, Bulgaria’s most popular holiday destination, three times a week from 16 June, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Varna is Bulgaria’s third-largest city and, in addition to being an important economic, tourism and cultural centre, it has a long history: one of the most significant and oldest gold artefact finds of prehistoric archaeology was discovered in the Copper Age necropolis there (mid–5th millennium BC).

Today it is the fastest-growing city in Bulgaria, primarily thanks to its vibrant tourism sector.

Tickets can already be booked through the Wizz Air mobile application and on the airline’s website.

As reported previously, flights to Eindhoven, Larnaca, and Istanbul will soon restart, while the relaunch of the Tel Aviv service has been postponed due to the war.
