International Spanish Reading Competition Finals Held in Debrecen
Two teams from Tóth Árpád Secondary School reached the final of the international reading competition organised by the Spanish Embassy, and thus the finals were held in Debrecen.
The students were also welcomed by Ambassador Luis Ángel Redondo Gomez. Ninth-year pupils were able to measure their knowledge, as well as their linguistic and cultural skills, through playful tasks.
At the institution, which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, Spanish language teaching plays a prominent role: the foreign language has been taught at the grammar school for around 20 years. At the end of the competition, the winners also received gifts and certificates.
