Record Crowds, Helicopters and Thousands of Vehicles at Debrecen Drive
According to a summary published on Debrecen Drive’s Facebook page, nearly 35,000 people chose to spend their leisure time at the sixth edition of the automotive and family festival.
Visitors had the opportunity to view almost 1,500 unique vehicles, while ground and aerial demonstrations, competitions, interactive activities, exhibitions and children’s programmes provided entertainment for all ages. Among younger visitors, Mini Drive proved particularly popular, alongside the inaugural Kiddie Motorcycle Championship, which was held for the first time this year.
Motorsport enthusiasts were able to see racing cars and uniquely customised vehicle creations, while among the indoor attractions, the large-scale LEGO exhibition attracted the greatest number of visitors.
Many visitors were also keen to explore the helicopter of the Rapid Response Police, while canine and equestrian demonstrations, as well as displays presented by the Hungarian Defence Forces and the Fire Service, also proved highly popular.
The professional side of the event likewise attracted considerable interest. Conferences and panel discussions showcased current trends in the automotive industry, along with developments expected to shape the future of transport.
According to the organisers, Debrecen Drive once again demonstrated that the world of vehicles is far more than a simple exhibition. It is a community experience where technological innovation, engineering expertise and human curiosity come together, while offering memorable experiences for every generation.
