Temporary Increase in Noise Levels Expected at EcoPro’s Debrecen Facility
According to information provided by EcoPro BM Hungary, a “Blow Out” operation is currently under way as part of the commissioning of the AP ASU (Air Supply Unit) installed at its Debrecen facility. The competent authorities were notified in advance in accordance with the relevant legal requirements.
During the process, pipelines and equipment are cleaned using pressure generated by the main compressor. Owing to the nature of the technology, temporarily elevated noise levels may occur while the work is being carried out.
The company emphasises that the Blow Out operation is a routine and essential part of commissioning the ASU unit. Commissioning is carried out in stages, subsystem by subsystem, and the noise generated during this phase should not be regarded as representative of the levels expected during normal operations. The process is expected to be completed during the afternoon of 18 June 2026. Should there be any changes to the schedule of the works, the company will inform those affected.
The AP ASU unit is expected to commence normal operations in July 2026. At that time, EcoPro BM Hungary Plc. will carry out noise measurements to verify compliance with the relevant statutory limits. The resulting measurement reports will be made available to the authorities in all cases.
