Budai Nagy Antal Street to Be Fully Closed at the Vámospércsi Road–Hétvezér Street Junction Between 20 July and 7 August
As part of the capacity expansion project on Main Road 48 (Vámospércsi Road), the final wearing course will be laid and permanent traffic management measures will be implemented at the Vámospércsi Road–Hétvezér Street junction during the period from Monday, 20 July, to 7 August 2026.
During the works, the Budai Nagy Antal Street approach to the junction will be closed across its full width. Motorists are advised to avoid the junction by using the Huszár Gál Street–Mák Street diversion route. Buses operated by DKV Zrt. will also be diverted via Mák Street, where a temporary bus stop will be established. Right turns from Faraktár Street into Hétvezér Street will be prohibited.
The contractor will also maintain the temporary traffic arrangements that were introduced earlier. As a result, the outer lane on Faraktár Street, between Kolónia Street and the Debreceni Bocskai István Primary School – Sándor Karácsony Branch, will remain closed with traffic reduced to a single lane approaching the junction. On Vámospércsi Road, the separation of the outer lane by safety barriers between Hétvezér Street and Létai Road will also remain in place while construction of a new bus stop and pavement continues.
Drivers are asked not to rely on their usual routes, but to follow the temporary road signs and traffic management measures in place throughout the duration of the works.
