Mechwart Students Take Study Trip to China
Students at Mechwart András Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology Technical School and their accompanying staff recently embarked on a 12-day study trip to China, where they explored the educational, technological, and cultural landscape of the Shenzhen and Guangzhou regions.
According to the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre (DSZC), a key part of the programme involved visits to secondary schools and universities. These gave students first-hand experience of everyday life in Chinese educational institutions and the opportunities for further study available in one of the world’s fastest-developing regions.
Technology was also a major focus as the group visited car factories, where they gained insight into modern industrial production and the operation of advanced technologies. This was a particularly exciting experience for Mechwart students studying engineering and information technology.
Hong Kong and Macao were also included in the itinerary, allowing the students to discover several distinct cultural and economic environments during a single study trip.
DSZC said the 12-day trip offered a unique opportunity for students to step outside the classroom and explore another country’s education system, industry, technological development and culture through their own experiences.
