Road Works On Kartács Street Have Been Completed

The details were presented at a press conference held on the 9th of July 2024 by the municipal representative of the district  Róbert Juráskó.

Róbert Juráskó premised that the road construction of Kartács Street had reached another milestone, as this section of district Nyulas would be renewed in several stages and would receive solid asphalt pavement. In previous years, road renovation was carried out in two phases. He added that the works of the third phase had been completed in the past few days, which on the section between Hajdú Street and Antgyás Street, a total of 315 metres long and 5.5 metres wide, with a solid pavement on both sides and a kerb on both sides.

The municipal representative said that the leadership of the city of Debrecen would continue to pay special attention to transport development in 2024, so the residents of Nyulas had been looking forward to the completion of the section. With this development, the asphalting of Kartács Street was practically 95% complete, and the remaining 100 metres would be paved in the following phase.

The current investment was realised with a gross investment of nearly HUF 97 million.

The representative emphasised that the road construction would contribute to safer and more comfortable transport for the residents of the area. With regard to the internal private roads in the district,he pointed out that although these sections were not managed by the municipality, they helped the residents by carrying out ongoing potholes and minor road repairs.
