Debrecen City Ball held for the 20th time

Debrecen organised the Debrecen City Ball for the 20th time, for the eighth time, in cooperation with the University of Debrecen and the Hajdú-Bihar County Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The evening, reflecting civic traditions opened with a dance by Debrecen’s graduating high school students accompanied by the Kodály Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Ball also showcased the young talent that deserves to be supported.  In addition to the Lautitia choir family, Jennifer Szirota and one of her students showed where talent can lead you.

As a unique feature, the ball programme was also enriched by a charity auction of art donated by Debrecen artists and a sports relic. The Vegas Show Band, the Budapest Bar, Peti Puskás, András Kállay-Saunders, Bálint Gájer and the Debrecen Big Band provided a good atmosphere.

The Debrecen Ball, as in previous years, was also held in the spirit of charity this year. The proceeds from the ball support talented young people in Debrecen.
