On September 12, Debrecen will once again become Hungary’s burger capital with a nationwide burger contest, craft beers, live demonstrations, and music at the sixth Szaft ‘N Burger festival by Lake Békás.

Admission is free for visitors. At the food and drink stalls, payment is only possible by bank card or with a HelloPay card.

The event is organised by Hortobágy Angus together with Főnix Rendezvényszervező Közhasznú Nonprofit Kft., with professional support from Grillakadémia. The event’s chief patron is Jani Jancsa, food blogger, Culinary Director of Bamba Marha Burger Bár and author of The Great Burger Book.
