Temporary Traffic Restrictions to Be Introduced on Sólyom Street
A subcontractor of Debreceni Vízmű Zrt. is carrying out urgent wastewater sewer repairs, therefore from 9 a.m. on 13 May the section of Sólyom Street between Ecsedi István Street and Hold Street will be completely closed to vehicle traffic.
Schedule of works:
- Groundwater level reduction: The first phase of the works is expected to take approximately 1.5 to 2 weeks.
- Sewer repairs: This will be followed by the restoration of the pipeline section located around 5 metres underground.
- Expected completion: According to plans, the works are scheduled to continue until 30 June.
Traffic arrangements and diversion routes:
Access to properties for residents living on the affected section will be continuously ensured by the contractor.
- Diversion route from the north: Via Hold Street towards Budai Nagy Antal Street.
- Diversion route from the south: Via Ecsedi István Street towards Veres Péter Street.
The contractor is making every effort to complete the restoration works as quickly as possible. Motorists are asked, where possible, to avoid Sólyom Street during the works and not to drive through the area out of habit.
