Debrecen’s peak festival season concludes in style with the 57th Debrecen Flower Carnival, which returns in a refreshed format, welcoming visitors for an entire week.

The highlight takes place on 20 August with the spectacular parade, featuring compositions made from hundreds of thousands of live flowers parading through the city.

This year’s carnival concept focuses on shaping the future and shared responsibility. The organisers aim not only to celebrate Debrecen but also to actively shape the city’s future, involving local communities, educational institutions, and generations of residents.

A standout musical programme features Ákos performing at Kossuth Square, marking the only Hungarian stop of his 2026 summer tour at the Debrecen Flower Carnival. Other performers include Kowalsky, Bogi Nagy, and the Sztárban Sztár All Star ensemble (Csaba Vastag, Péter Srámek, Évi Sári, Heni Dér, Tamás Horváth), with the show hosted by Attila Till.
