Free Publication Promotes Cycling from Debrecen to Oradea

Published as part of the Romanian–Hungarian Cross-Border Cultural Centre project, the books On Two Wheels from Debrecen to Oradea and Sustaining Craft Cultures were presented at the Hajdú-Bihar County Hall on 16 June.

With an overall objective to strengthen Romanian–Hungarian cultural relations, the project includes two publications. On Two Wheels from Debrecen to Oradea presents the history, natural and built heritage, contemporary cultural life and gastronomy of settlements located along the 80-kilometre cycle route between Debrecen and Oradea, with rest areas and no no significant changes in elevation. The publication Sustaining Craft Cultures introduces readers to the traditional trades and professions of the region.

The publications are available in Hungarian, Romanian and English. A total of 4,000 copies of the two books have been printed, and digital versions are also available on the website of Hajdú-Bihar County Council.
