Debrecen Companies Also Present at Campus Festival

During the daytime, Campus Festival offers visitors a colourful programme of events. For companies operating in the city, strengthening the community is of particular importance, which is why they take part in this large-scale community event. They not only welcome festivalgoers with interactive activities but also showcase their work to those interested. Families arriving with children can also find exciting activities at Campus, either in the Family Grove or the Civil Courtyard.

BMW Group Plant Debrecen arrived at Campus Festival with a large team, as the company traditionally also conducts recruitment at the event. They already have employees who were inspired to join the company after first encountering it at Campus. The plant is currently recruiting for 44 positions and is hopeful of finding several talented young people at the festival. They have brought along their latest fully electric vehicles to Campus, and naturally, anyone is welcome to sit inside them. “We feel that we are part of Debrecen, and it is a great pleasure to be here at Campus Festival for the fifth time. We meet people, enjoy the programmes together with festivalgoers and our colleagues,” said Oliver Gschwandtner, Head of Communications at BMW Group Plant Debrecen.

Harro Höfliger also has employees whom the company first met at Campus. This is the second year that the company has added to the festival’s programme. “It is very important to us that we are present in the life of the city not only as an economic player and an innovative industrial company, but also as a part of Debrecen’s educational and cultural life. There is no better opportunity for this than Campus Festival,” emphasised Péter Kanizsár, HR Manager of Harro Höfliger Hungary.

Anyone whose phone battery runs flat while partying can recharge it by cycling at the CATL stand. The company is attending Campus for the third time and is present at three locations this year. In addition to its stand on Job Street, visitors can relax in its Recharge Zone after a busy day at the festival, and CATL is also the naming sponsor of one of the main stages.

EVE Power Hungary is also welcoming visitors with exciting games, while giving them the opportunity to learn about the construction of one of Debrecen’s most significant investments. Meanwhile, anyone can become a basketball star at the M3 Park stand.

One of the festival’s quietest venues is the Richter Family Grove, where visitors can even learn CPR. There is also a traditional play area, carnival and skill games, as well as bouncy castles. The company, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year, is marking the occasion together with festivalgoers through this series of events. “Complete health also includes mental wellbeing, and here we are trying to share information about this on the small stage. Moreover, only those who have a good workplace can truly be completely healthy and happy, and we want to offer advice on how they can find one,” said Pál Győrösi, PR and Government Relations Associate at Richter Gedeon.

Visitors to the Family Grove can also meet Debrecen’s best-known dog, Atmo, the star of EBizód, the magazine programme produced by Médiacentrum Debrecen. “The mission of the programme is to raise awareness of responsible pet ownership, which is why we came to Campus Festival as well. Atmo has now been the festival’s only dog for four years, as he really is here every single year,” highlighted Anikó Nádasdi, editor and presenter of EBizód.

So, anyone who wants not only to enjoy themselves, but also to find a new vocation or simply seek intellectual refreshment, will find something for them at the 18th Campus Festival.
